Principal Responsibilities The requirement is for a support specialist with both technology and business credibility to ensure, on a day-to-day basis, all IT-related issues affecting the PRISM margin and Internal Risk Management systems are dealt with in an effective and efficient manner. Reporting into the manager of the PRISM IT group in London, the successful candidate will be responsible for: ·Day to day maintenance and support of the various components of the system. ·Design and Implement small enhancements to various components of PRISM. ·Liaise with Operations*Business personnel, on a day to day basis, in order to ensure that all open issues and requests have been captured, prioritized and dealt with. ·Regular management reporting of issue occurrence and resolution. Relevant Skills: Technology*Analysis Skills: ·Good understanding of Sybase (Transact-SQL), Java, and Perl. ·Ability to work logically through data*systems issues. ·Evidence of in-depth system and business flow knowledge. ·Able to elicit business knowledge and have some experience of documenting business processes. Business Knowledge: ·General Financial Markets and Financial Products knowledge is essential.
